AudioFaktor
AudioFaktor is a piece of software allowing several musicians/sound designers each with their own laptop to collaborate in a live performance situation. The computers are connected via ethernet and all participants share a common workspace, which means they can interact with each others sound objects.
Currently no commercial musical software supports collaboration in such a way, but through our own experience and conversations with many other musicians we've found that the demand for a tool like this is very high!
Furthermore we are focusing on making the graphical interface useful specifically in a live situation where it may not be easy to use tiny interface objects.

Note: unfortunately YouTube converts to mono, so you won't hear the panning effects.
Status
February, 2007: The second prototype is done, and all the workshops have been great with lots of valuable feedback from the participants. The system is now fully operational, but this is not ready for release as software by any means. Much work is still left to be done.
July, 2006: We have finished the first prototype and will in the near future conduct several workshops with different composers, electronic musicians and sound designers participating in our project, to test several aspects of the current interface.
